THRALL (dir. Logan February, 2024). Watch an excerpt below.

In a triptych of poems, Logan February’s short film THRALL embodies a search for psychic transformation through transgressive desire. The queer African body is probed as a site of pleasure and power, violence and vulnerability, endurance and escape, within the aesthetics and psychology of BDSM practice.

An official selection at the 2025 ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival, THRALL premiered at Qüalgeist Berlin’s 35th Anniversary Festival, and has been screened at the Haus der Kulturen den Welt (HKW), filmclub münster, and other exhibitions in Berlin.

Made in Germany in collaboration with Qüalgeist Berlin and Best Films Forever, with the support of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program.
